Social Clubs
The Department of Imaging and Applied Physics has three student social clubs - PHYSSED, Club Rad and the Astronomy club.
PHYSSED is the social club for Physical Science students and Club Rad is the social club for Medical Imaging Science students though anyone may join either, or both, clubs.
The Astronomy club formed in 2008 with a core of interested staff and students from Applied Physics and is open to anyone, from any school or course, with an interest in astronomy.
The social clubs raise funds through barbeques and other fundraising in order to organise and subsidise events throughout the year.
